LOS ANGELES - Ben Wetzler allowed one run and five hits over seven innings to help guide the sixth-ranked Oregon State baseball team to a series-clinching 5-2 win over No. 10 UCLA Sunday at Jackie Robinson Stadium.

Wetzler, making his sixth start of the season, picked up his first win of the 2013 season after striking out five in the series finale. The Beavers won the series as they shut down the Bruins, 5-0, on Saturday. UCLA had opened the weekend with a 3-2 win on Friday.

Wetzler's lone blemish came on a solo home run by Brett Urabe to open the bottom half of the sixth. He improved to 1-1 on the year.

The Beavers (25-5 overall, 7-2 Pac-12 Conference) got to UCLA (19-9, 7-5) starter Grant Watson early and often, driving the left-hander from the game after just 3 1/3 innings. OSU held a 2-0 lead after one inning and stretched it to a 4-0 advantage after solo runs in both the third and fourth innings.
