For the second consecutive game, the Blazers fell behind early, never caught up, and suffered a loss.  Playing without injured stars LaMarcus Aldridge and Nikolas Batum, the Blazers trailed Memphis 32-21 after one quarter, by as many as 19 points in the 4th quarter, and ended up on the short end of a 94-76 score.

With former Blazers' #1-draft pick Greg Oden sitting in the front row at the Rose Garden, Oden's former Ohio State teammate Mike Conley led the Grizzlies with 20 points,  Ex-Blazer Zach Randolph had 17 points and 8 rebounds, and Ed Davis had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds in only 18 minutes off the bench.

Damian Lillard and JJ Hickson scored 17 points apiece to lead the Blazers, but Portland was a miserable 4 of 29 (13.8%) from 3-point range, and shot 41% from the field overall. The Blazers suffered their 6th consecutive loss, and dropped to 33-42 for the season.  With only seven games remaining, the Blazers are now assured of having a losing record.
