Eight units in an apartment complex in Beaverton were damaged by a two alarm fire Friday morning.  The apartments are located near Millikan Way west of Hocken Avenue.

When the first fire crews arrived the fire had spread through the attic and they called a second alarm.

One resident was hospitalized with a non-life threatening injury.  No firefighters were hurt.

The fire appeared to start in a kitchen.  Investigators are working to determine how it started.

The Red Cross is working to assist residents with temporary housing.
