Meth pipe in court brings another drug charge

51-year-old Todd Campbell was going into the Cowlitz County Courthouse for a hearing on Possession of Methamphetamine and Obstructing an Officer.  As Campbell was going through security, he emptied his pockets, so the contents could go through the X-Ray machine.  He was stopped when a security officer noticed a three-inch glass pipe hidden under a piece of paper.  The pipe had brown residue that tests showed were methamphetamine.  Campbell said he planned to turn in the pipe.  He was arrested and another charge of meth possession was added to his list.
