53-year-old Boris Bondarchuk went mushroom hunting on Monday near S. Family Camp Road near Molalla.
When he didn't return, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office launched a search. The rugged area comprised of dense wooded cover, steep mountain terrain and rivers which has made it difficult for continuing search and rescue efforts.
Several groups are helping with the search including the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Team, Mountain Wave Communications, Pacific NW Search and Rescue, North Oregon Regional Search and Rescue, and the Marion County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue.
Bondarchuk is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, 190 pounds, last seen wearing black pants, a black jacket with white stripes on the sleeves and black boots.
