On February 13, 2014 at approximately 9:17 am, deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office responded to the report of a robbery on the bicycle path that runs parallel to I-205 at Otty Rd in unincorporated Happy Valley, OR.

When deputies arrived they spoke with the female victim who reported the male suspect approached her from behind. The suspect grabbed her around the neck with his arm and placed a large knife to her throat. The suspect demanded money from her.

The victim was able to spin away from the suspect's grasp but was cut by the knife while doing so. The suspect fled the scene on foot from the location and was last seen running south on the bike path.

The suspect is further described as a Hispanic male, 18-20 years-old, between 5'02" - 5'04", brown eyes, black hair, full lips, a youthful face and no accent. At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing a black hooded jacket and black pants. The knife was described as a large kitchen style knife.

The victim was treated for a laceration to her hand and she was able to meet with a forensic artist who works for the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. A composite sketch of the suspect was created and will be attached to this release.
