We join Les Schwab Tire Centers in honoring the commitment to our communities by PAVE - Paws Assisting Veterans.
PAVE is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of Veterans suffering from mental and/or physical disabilities through trained service dogs, empowering them and their families to achieve lifelong successes and to pave their way home. PAVE provides service dogs and training free of charge to veterans including equipment and supplies valued at over $1,000.
It is estimated that 22 Veterans commit suicide every day. Placing PTSD service dogs with Veterans has been shown to significantly improve Veterans' well-being. Our teams receive extensive training and follow-up. Highly trained PAVE assistance dogs save lives.
Each month, Les Schwab Tire Centers and iHeartMedia Communities recognize individuals helping to build a stronger tomorrow with their efforts in local communities and organizations.
