A large RV fire closed Highway 140 east of Klamath Falls for several hours.
Klamath County Fire District 1, along with Bonanza Fire Department and Kingsley Field Fire Department battled a fire in a large RV approximately 10 Miles east of Klamath Falls.
The RV was in transit to Klamath Falls, when smoke and flames where seen coming out of the back tire area. The driver pulled over and attempted to extinguish the fire, but was unable too.
The fire loss is estimated to be over $250,000. No injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
