Foo Fighters recently had a show in Los Angeles and went to Rainbow Bar and Grill on Sunset afterwards to celebrate. The beer tab ended up totaling $333.30, so what could Grohl do OTHER than tip $333?
Tipping $333 would make the bill come out to $666.30, not that flat $666 that Grohl was aiming for. He actually addressed this statement in a recent interview.
When you get a bill that says $333, it's like, I'm gonna go the extra mile. The sad thing was - I think it was $303.30, but I was too hammered to figure out the $302.70... I couldn't do the real math. Which would have been strong but I was seeing double at that point.
Which is still wrong... in order to have your bill come to $666, you would have need to tip $332.70.
