The Disney Princess Half Marathon Is The Race You Need To Do

If you're a runner, or someone who would like to be, The Disney Princess Half Marathon is a good goal to aim for.

The half marathon, put on by RunDisney is a yearly event that goes down in Walt Disney World every year. This years half marathon just happened this past weekend, and sign ups for next year go up this June.

Running isn't fun, but when you're surrounded by your favorite Disney characters and princesses, all while running in Epcot and Magic Kingdom (plus some streets and sidewalks, but that isn't as fun). Runners are encouraged to dress with the theme, including people in Princess gowns and full on Disney themed running suits.

The run usually sells out in 24-48 hours, and theme park admission is NOT included, and it ranges from $87 for the 5K to $350 for access to both the 10K and half. You do get access to exclusive merch, food, and activities for the race. Spectators can watch for free, or pay to be apart of the ChEAR squad to get merch, food, private viewing areas, alongside other things, depending on the package they choose.

If you're like me and considering participating, this article from BuzzFeed has some great tips from someone who has already ran the race.
