Mandy Horvath lost both of her legs above the knee after she was hit by a coal train in Steele City, Nebraska. Mandy is now 26 and raises money and awareness for worthy causes by taking on challenges even able-bodied people would not. To call attention to Cars 4 Heroes Colorado, she climbed the stairs to the top of the Statue of Liberty using only her hands.
