Sure the empire could enslave entire star systems, destroy the Jedi and build weapons of planetary destruction, but it has one weakness: Stairs. This poor guy misses a step and tumbles down about 30 stairs before hitting the bottom. Hard to keep your pride when your armor is half falling off.
