Eminem, Duran Duran and Pat Benatar are among the artists to top this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame fan ballot. Duran Duran, a first-time Rock Hall nominee in 2022, came out on top with nearly 934,000 votes. Winning the fan ballot does not ensure an induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. A body of more than 1,000 artists, industry members and historians will help decide which five acts out of the 17 will progress into the final round of induction consideration. Earlier this month, production on a movie called "Being Mortal" was shut down indefinitely because Bill Murray did "something inappropriate" on the set. Well, in an interview with CNBC over the weekend, Bill admitted that he had a "difference of opinion" with an unnamed woman on the set. He said, "I did something I thought was funny, and it wasn't taken that way . . . Things change and the times change, so it's important for me to figure it out.”

It’s been nearly 2 years but Highway 224 above Estacada re-opened Sunday after crews completed the final cleanup needed to make the road safe after the Labor Day 2020 wildfires. Recovery work in the corridor will continue after the road opens. This summer, visitors will encounter road closures of up to 20 minutes at varying locations, seven days a week, and will see trucks loaded with debris, rock scaling work and asphalt being repaired. READ MORE.
