North Korea admitted earlier today that it is suffering an "explosive" outbreak of what they are calling “fever” with at least 350k cases. It’s interesting because just yesterday they announced what they claim to be their first ever COVID case. READ MORE.

Apple is no longer the world’s most valuable company. They passed Saudi energy giant Aramco couple of years ago to take the top spot, but Aramco has just taken it back. I don’t think either company has anything to complain about... Aramco is worth $2.4 trillion, Apple is worth 2.3 trillion. READ MORE.

Earlier this week a baby boy was born at a Metallica concert in Brazil while they were playing “Enter Sandman,” and now the new mom has an even better story. She and her husband got a call to congratulate them from James Hetfield. The parents posted a video clip of the first few seconds of the call on YouTube; they joked that they were going to name the kid “James Ulrich,” but went with Luan instead.

Norm McDonald had secretly recorded a run-through of a planned stand-up special shortly before his death. Netflix has announced that the hour-long stand-up, titled “Norm Macdonald: Nothing Special” will premiere on May 20th. Macdonald died last September after a nine-year battle with leukemia that he had kept a secret from the public. READ MORE.

There's a plot twist in Elon Musk's bid to buy Twitter. He tweeted this morning that the deal is "temporarily on hold" over a report of fake accounts on the platform. It was not immediately clear if any official steps had been taken to halt the acquisition, which was agreed to last month with a price tag of about 44 billion. Musk's tweet drove the price of Twitter's stock down more than 18 percent. READ MORE.
