Billionaire Elon Musk, formerly the richest man in the world, has broken a new record. He has become the first person in history to lose $200 billion of his net worth. In 2021 he became only the second person to gain a fortune more than $200 billion, after Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Jeremy Renner is in critical condition after a snowplowing accident at his residence in Nevada. According to TMZ his Snowcat ran over his leg while he was cleaning up after a New Year's Eve snowstorm. His rep says he suffered, "blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries," and had surgery yesterday. It's not clear how the accident occurred but police say Jeremy was the only person involved. Avatar: The Way of the Water won the holiday box office. After hitting the $1 billion mark a few days ago, the film has now made nearly $1.4 billion globally. It's currently projected to end with a final total somewhere between $1.6 and $1.9 billion.
