Researchers are suggesting that we eventually add a fourth, WHITE light. The idea is that as more and more automated cars are on the streets, they'd be able to communicate with each other and the traffic lights to coordinate the optimal, most-efficient traffic flow. So, no more stopping for a few minutes at a red light when no one is coming. The white light would indicate to human drivers that there are enough automated vehicles in the area to navigate intersections on their own and that you should just follow the lead of the car in front of you. Warren Zevon and Soundgarden are among four nominees with more than 100,000 in the first week of fan voting for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The top-five finishers will comprise a "Fans' Ballot" that will be tallied with the other ballots. Warren Zevon is 3rd, Soundgarden is 4th. The Morrison Bridge in Portland will close to traffic, bikes and pedestrians for two weekends this month and one weekend in March for a painting project. The bridge will close the weekends of February 18th and the 25th and then the weekend of March 4th. The closures will start at 10pm. Friday night and last through 5 o'clock Monday morning. READ MORE.
