Slayer's Last Tour Is Coming
Slayer is going on tour later this year, and it will be their last. The schedule has not been released but the tour will feature Lamb of God, Anthrax, Testament and Behemoth alongside Slayer. More info on this story at Blabbermouth.
Rush Is Basically Done
Alex Lifeson, guitarist of Rush, says the band is basically done. He told The Globe and Mail that the band has no plans to tour anymore or record anymore music. He added that recently he has been working on projects for a few different bands. Both Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee have stated that another tour will not happen unless all three of Rush's band members agreed to take part. Lee added when asked if they would ever do a partial Rush tour that "we always said that if the three of us aren't on board, we don't do a thing. There have been other decisions in our career where the three of us weren't on board and we didn't do it. Nothing as profound as ending our touring life, but fair enough. So one guy doesn't want to do that thing anymore that I love to do. That hurts. But there's nothing I can do about it and that's part of the agreement." More info on this story at Blabbermouth.
