Is Tool's Album Coming Out This Summer?

According to Maynard James Keenan, no. In an Instagram live feed from earlier this month, Adam Jones said that the "music is done, lyrics are coming in hard." User Amy Anderson wrote on Twitter that Tool's new album would be coming out this summer.

Keenan tweeted back that the album would NOT, be coming out over the summer, no matter what apparent source Anderson got her information from. 

On the bright side, Keenan just said that it would not be coming out this summer, not that we would not get an album within the year. In countless interviews Tool has said the new album will be coming out in 2018, just expect it later than summer. Check out more information on this story at Loudwire.

Korn Is Heading To Portland

While Korn is not on tour, frontman Jonathan Davis is heading out on his own. The solo album is anticipated to be released this summer and his first single 'What It Is' can be found on the soundtrack to American SatanDavis has been quoted as saying to Blabbermouth, "It took 10 years, and I'm so glad this project is finally out. It is something that is very close to me and I'm excited for the world to finally hear it. This time, I'm pulling something out of the audience." Korn fans can expect to hear a great show from Davis when he kicks off his solo tour at Crystal Ballroom on April 6th. Pre sale for the show kicks off today, January 30th.
