Iron Maiden Being Sued By Former Vocalist Dennis Wilcox
Dennis Wilcock, former lead vocalist for Iron Maiden is suing the band for allegedly stealing his lyrics. Wilcock is suing the band for around $2.6 million claiming he wrote the lyrics to "Prowler,” “Charlotte the Harlot,” “Phantom of the Opera” and “Iron Maiden” according to court documents acquired by Loudwire. He claims he did not know that his lyrics were used because he stopped listening to Iron Maiden after leaving the band in 1978.
Vinnie Paul's Memorial Date Set
We reported earlier in the week that Vinnie Paul of Pantera passed away in his sleep on Friday evening. His memorial service has been set for this weekend in Dallas, Texas.
