Gene Simmons' Sexual Assault Case Settled

Back in 2017, a broadcast journalist who asked to be kept anonymous, came forward with an alleged sexual harassment case against Simmons.

The accuser's attorney Willie W. Williams told The San Bernardino Sun. "Defendant Simmons turned standard interview questions into sexual innuendos, which made plaintiff [Jane] Doe extremely uncomfortable. My client is embarrassed and humiliated by the incident with Mr. Simmons. She filed suit because she wanted to make a strong statement that this behavior is unacceptable and she wants to see an end to this type of behavior.”

Gene Simmons has defended his innocence throughout the entire case since it was filed back on December 15th, 2017.

While talking to Spin, Simmons told a reporter that "I intend to defend myself against any alleged charges you may have been reading about in the media. For the record, I did not assault the person making these accusations in the manner alleged in the complaint or harm her in any way. I am conferring with my lawyers with the aim of vigorously countering these allegations. And, I look forward to my day in court where the evidence will prove my innocence.”

Now according to Blast, an alleged undisclosed settlement has been reached in the case between Simmons and Jane Doe. A request to dismiss the case would be the next steps in the process. Even with the alleged settlement, Simmons maintains innocence.
