Linkin Park Share Note to Chester Bennington

Today, marks one year since the passing of Chester Bennington, frontman to Linkin Park. On what is bound to be an emotional day for his bandmates, they shared a short letter they penned to their friend.

To our brother Chester,

It has been a year since your passing—a surreal rotation of grief, heartbreak, refusal, and recognition. And yet it sill feels like you are close by, surrounding us with your memory and your light. Your one-of-a-kind spirit has authored an indelible imprint on our hearts—our jokes, our joy, and our tenderness.

Eternally grateful for the love, life, and creative passion you shared with us and the world. We miss you more than words can express.

Love,

M, J, D, R, B

Longest Streak For Guitar Playing Broken

An Australian man has broken the record for the longest streak playing guitar. Scott Burford began playing on July 15th and completed his 125 hour streak on July 20th. Burford was allowed a 30 second break in between songs for food and water, and for every hour he played he was allowed a five minute break which he used for power naps.
