In a report from The Wall Street Journal, the controlling leaders behind Toys R Us and Babies R Us have decided to pull out of their bankruptcy auction. They were quoted as saying that they "intend to revive the business behind the Toys ‘R’ Us and Babies ‘R’ Us brand names." They are also intending to "create new, domestic, retail operating businesses."
Other than that, not much is known about a potential Toys R Us and Babies R Us Revival. According to Polygon since the closure of the chain a $11 billon hole has been left in the toy industry.
I'm not married, nor do I have children, but I would love the opportunity to take my future family to a Toys R Us one day. Would you be excited for a revival of the chain?
