Korn Allegedly Suing Former Drummer

In a new report by The Blast , Korn is allegedly suing their former drummer David Silveria over royalties.

The lawsuit stems from an alleged case where he contacted a royalties company demanding payment that was not in his contract. When the drummer left the band he was originally given a lump sum of many as apart of an agreement to give up future Korn royalties.

SoundExchange, the company behind Korn's royalties, is in direct violation of this agreement with Silveria's 2018 contract. Since he has tried to gain royalties, SoundExchange has placed a freeze on royalty payments to Korn, supposedly totaling $290,000 in lost revenue.

The report states that Korn is now suing Silveria for breach of contract and wanting to prevent him from attempting to collect any future royalties.
