Adorable Little Boy Throws Prom For His Nanny

Curtis Rodgers, a seven-year-old boy from North Carolina is making headlines after throwing a Prom for his nanny Rachel Chapman.

Curtis told ABC6 that "I planned it out because Rachel probably wanted to see me a lot. She also is one of the best people I've known." With the Coronavirus cancelling basically all major events for 2020, Rachel Chapman was upset that she wasn't going to be able to experience her senior prom. Rachel and Curtis also hadn't seen each other in two months due to the virus.

Curtis' mom said that he worked hard on the special night for his nanny. Curtis and Rachel used a pool noodle to make sure they practiced proper social distancing while snacking on apples and peanut butter and listening to Rachel's favorite songs. His Mom explained that Curtis even had a "bow tie that matched her dress. It was really cute. He was really excited for it to start and make sure he was ready to impress her."

Rachel said at first she was bummed putting on the dress because she wasn't going to wear it for her Senior Prom, but Curtis and his family made the night equally as special.
