Jake Paul Charged In Arizona Riots

A riot broke out in Scottsdale, Arizona on Saturday night, and images of multi-millionaire and internet star Jake Paul were circulating online.

The official Twitter account for the Scottsdale PD has now tweeted that after the department "hundreds of tips and videos identifying social media influencerreceived hundreds of tips and videos identifying social media influencer, Jake Joseph Paul, as a participant in the riot. Our investigation revealed that Paul was present after the protest was declared an unlawful assembly and the rioters were ordered to leave the area by the police. Paul also unlawfully entered and remained inside of the mall when it was closed."

Sargent Ben Hoster clarified that while Paul was charged, he has not been booked into custody according to AZ Family.

Earlier in the week Jake Paul took to his social accounts to clarify that he had been peacefully protesting all day, during "one of the most horrific injustices our country has ever seen, which led to us being tear-gassed for filming the events and brutality that were unfolding in Arizona. We were gasses and forced to keep moving on foot."
