A storm brought strong winds and heavy rain to Northwest Oregon and Western Washington overnight Tuesday.
Power went out to more than 110,000 customers of Portland General Electric, Clark Public Utilities and Pacific Power.
The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Warning for eastern Multnomah and southern Skamania counties.
There were several mudslides in the Columbia River Gorge. Residents of Dodson were evacuated.
A slide covered one vehicle in mud and debris.
A slide also covered the eastbound lanes of I-84 causing the freeway to be closed at Troutdale.
The rain has stopped, but it'll be Thursday before river levels start to recede.
The heavy rain over night caused Portland's sewer system to overflow into the Willamette River downstream from Willamette Park. The Portland Bureau of Environmental Services is warning you to avoid contact with the river, because of increased bacteria in the water. The warning is in place through Thursday.
