Sleeping Child Nearly Hit By Bullet

A sleeping child was nearly hit by a bullet early Friday morning in Southeast Portland.

Police say at least 8 rounds were fired at a house near 66th and Southeast Duke.

One of the bullets hit the bed where a 12-year-old boy was sleeping. No one was hurt.

Police don't have any information on a suspect. They are asking for tips in the case. A reward is offered through Crime Stoppers.
