A resident died in an apartment fire Saturday afternoon in Aloha.
Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue responded to the fire on Southwest Mapleoak Lane in the Cascade Woods apartments and found heavy smoke and flames coming from the first floor of the three floor apartment complex. Fire was spreading to the upper units.
Crews quickly put out the fire and found a victim dead in the first floor unit. The victim is identified as 64-year-old Robin Wilkinson. No other injuries were reported.
Six units were impacted by the fire. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
