The Portland Trail Blazers today announced their 2026-27 regular season schedule presented by Toyota. Portland will tip-off their season campaign at Moda Center on Wednesday, October 21 against the Phoenix Suns.
Following its October 21 season opener against Phoenix, the Trail Blazers will spend the first two weeks of the season on the road with only one more matchup at Moda Center in October against the Memphis Grizzlies (Oct. 29). The team will travel to Sacramento to face the Kings on October 23 and take on Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers on October 27. After facing Memphis at home on October 29, Portland will hit the road again for a four-game road trip vs. Jaren Jackson Jr., Lauri Markkanen and the Utah Jazz (Oct. 31), Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets (Nov. 2), Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns (Nov. 4) and the Lakers again on November 6.
Trail Blazers games will be televised by KUNP/KATU/BlazerVision, the television home of the Portland Trail Blazers, or on national carriers. Games will also be broadcast on Rip City Radio 620 AM and the Trail Blazers Audio Network. Portland’s schedule is set to include 11 nationally-televised games—seven on NBC/Peacock, two on Amazon Prime Video and two on ESPN. The team’s nationally televised appearances on NBC/Peacock include five games at Moda Center vs. OKC Thunder (Nov. 10), Denver Nuggets (Dec. 15), Minnesota Timberwolves (Feb. 2), LA Clippers (March 2) and Houston Rockets (March 30) while the team’s November 25 home matchup against the San Antonio Spurs and March 13 game against the LA Clippers will be featured on ESPN.
Portland opens this season’s Emirates NBA Cup on the road against the Los Angeles Lakers on November 6. They’ll then take on the Sacramento Kings on November 13 and close out West Group C competition at home vs. Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs (Nov. 25) and Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors (Nov. 27).
From the group play stage of the NBA Cup, eight total teams across the league will advance to the Knockout Rounds: the team with the best standing in Group Play games in each of the six groups and two “wild cards” (the team from each conference with the best record in Group Play games that finished second in its group).
The Knockout Rounds will consist of single-elimination games in the Quarterfinals Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5 and Semifinals will be held on Tuesday, December 8 and/or Wednesday, December 9 (all in NBA team markets). The Championship game will be held in Indianapolis on December 11.
Portland will ring in the new year at Moda Center when they host Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics on January 2 and the reigning NBA Champion New York Knicks on January 4.
The team’s longest home stand of the season features six matchups and begins March 23 vs. the Toronto Raptors. Portland will then host LeBron James, Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on March 26 for their sole visit to Rip City. The stretch also features the Milwaukee Bucks on March 27 and back-to-back games against Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets on March 30 and 31.
The Trail Blazers’ schedule has 15 back-to-backs including two games at Moda Center vs. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on November 10 and 11 and games against the Los Angeles Lakers on March 16 and Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Miami Heat on March 17.
Portland’s month-by-month breakdown includes five games in October (two home, three road), 15 games in November (six home, nine road), 11 games in December (five home, six road), 16 games in January (eight home, eight road), 12 games in February (seven home, five road), 16 games in March (10 home, six road) and five games in April (two home, three road).
Led by head coach Micah Nori, the Trail Blazers enter the 2026-27 season with an All-Star roster of Damian Lillard, Deni Avdija and Jrue Holiday while adding two-time All-Star Ja Morant this offseason. Portland also includes a group of versatile guards in Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe and defensive threats in Toumani Camara and Donovan Clingan. The Trail Blazers are coming off a 2025-26 campaign which featured a first-round playoff appearance after the team secured the seventh seed in the Western Conference.
