Your friends aren't really your friends

Very Few Of Your Facebook Friends Are Actually Your Friends: A recent survey tells us that people are spending way too much time on social media and that many of our Facebook friends aren't really our friends at all. A poll of 3,053 adults revealed our obsession with social networks has made many of us less likely to go out to meet people, while 60 percent say they catch up with friends less frequently since the world has become more digital .

They also found that just 23 percent of our friends on Facebook are considered to be genuine friends. The research also found social media, along with busy lifestyles, working long hours, being a parent, and living too far from one another is making us less happy every day. Bottom line, we should put our phones down and spend more time talking with people.
