Love it or hate it, the single most controversial song in the Kiss catalogue has just hit a milestone.
KISS's "I Was Made For Lovin' You" music video has topped a billion views on YouTube.
"The numbers speak for themselves.” The band posted on social media. “This one still dominates. IWMFLY baby!!"
Last summer, Paul Stanley revealed that "I Was Made For Lovin' You" is the "biggest" KISS song of all time.
Last year, "I Was Made For Lovin' You" which was written with Desmond Child and Vini Poncia, became the biggest Kiss song of all time as it hit 1.3 BILLION total streams on Spotify. A little bit of irony there since Kiss is mainly known as a metal/hard rock band and "I Was Made For Lovin' You" was a huge hit for KISS, even though it is hated by hardcore fans who hate disco beat.
"I Was Made for Lovin' You" appears on KISS's 1979 album "Dynasty", and was the lead single, selling over 1 million copies, and reaching No. 11 on the Billboard charts.
