My birthday is next month and I'm taking a trip to NYC in the end of June, so basically the dieting and workout routine has been REAL. I want to die every night, but hey, my body and healthy will thank me for it.
If you want to get abs though, those are made in the kitchen. Being healthy is 80% eating clean and 20% working out. My diet routine is eating clean all the time with 1-2 cheat meals mixed in there. When I go out to eat I TRY to get the mixed veggies or the salad wrap, but sometimes that pizza just looks so good you have to do it.
One Day in My Meal Plan:
Breakfast: Overnight Oats or a Breakfast Smoothie
My Favorite Overnight Oats Recipes!
My Favorite Banana Breakfast Smoothie! (I like to add peanut butter protein powder!)
On weekends I usually make hot Oatmeal with blueberries and cinnamon, egg whites, and fresh fruit.
Lunch: Healthy Quesadilla or Lunch Wrap
Dinner: Spaghetti Squash Pasta or Chicken and Veggies
Snacks: Fruit and Chip Alternatives
Apples and Peanut Butter (I eat Pink Ladies with Adam's Peanut Butter)
Gluten Free Rice Cakes and Peanut Butter
I repin a lot of stuff on Pinterest that is related to health and fitness. I also post a ton of beauty stuff, you can follow it if you want to see what other health stuff I am trying out. Here is my link > Pinterest
Any recipe you see that includes butter, cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, or any sort of dairy, know that I use a dairy free alternative that doesn't contain soy. As much as I LOVE cheese and dairy, it's really bad for you. If you can cut dairy out of your diet I guarantee you'll lose a ton of pounds, but it's really up to you.
My workout plan usually is one hour of cardio 3-4 days a week and pilates 2-3 days a week. Cardio is like normal, I alternate between treadmill, bike, and elliptical so my body doesn't plateau. I then just do pilates routines I find on YouTube. PopSugar Fitness kicks my booty. Below I included my favorite video from them. Ten minutes in you'll want to die, but you'll feel SO GOOD the next day.
Just remember that I am not a registered trainer or nutritionist, just someone who lost 100 lbs and these are the things that work best for me to lose weight and stay in shape.
