Rick Grimes Fate To Be Decided in a The Walking Dead Movie Series

Fans of The Walking Dead have been anticipating Rick Grimes departure from the show for a while. AMC had been teasing fans for some time that we were in a countdown to Rick's final episode. Rather than witnessing an epic death scene, we saw Grimes being lifted away in a helicopter to an unknown fate.

As it turns out, this isn't the end of Andrew Lincoln's character, because a movie trilogy has been ordered with the first flick being all about what happened to Rick Grimes.

The Walking Dead had been heavily promoting that this would be Grimes' last season, with promotion on only having a certain amount of episodes left with him. Since most of the original Walking Dead characters have already been killed off, the safe assumption is that Grimes' would be following the same path.

The Verge reports that the movie trilogy will air on the AMC network and are being described as "an original Rick Grimes story." Each movie in the trilogy will have higher budget and production value than what they have for individual episodes.

Filming begins next year.

Dave Grohl Wants To Play With AC/DC

In an interview with Forbes, Dave Grohl admitted that it's on his bucket list to play drums for AC/DC.

"AC/DC. That's my last one, that's it. Phil Rudd is back though. If you dive back into their back catalog, that early s**t, there was a little bit more dynamic, then they settled into the groove. That's the thing. And it's because of Phil Rudd. It's AC/DC, but that guy holds the key."
