Pizza Hut is gearing up to have one of the biggest years yet.
The chain restaurant is expanding beer into their already established pizza delivery in an attempt to gain the upper hand on Dominos. This is in part due to them under performing for the first time ever against the rival chain.
Pizza Hut announced that 300 of their stores in Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, California and Arizona would have the service by mid-January, with 1000 total locations rolling out by the end of summer according to a CNN report.
This isn't the first time Pizza Hut has ventured into beer delivery, with 100 locations having it offered to them in 2017. The "positive feedback ... is a big driving force behind this expansion," said Marianne Radley, Pizza Hut's Chief Brand Officer.
Brand names like Blue Moon, Bud Light and Corona Extra are available for delivery. Don't expect to be able to get around the 21+ laws though, as your driver WILL be checking your ID as well as having you fill out a form for Pizza Hut.
