If you are anything like most Americans, one of your New Years resolutions may be to get fit. One of the hardest parts of getting fit is the dietary change. One of my favorite ways to be healthy is to find my favorite types of foods, and transform them into healthier options!
I love health food blogs, and lost 100 lbs because of them! Literally any time I want to find dinner, I just scroll through their Instagram feeds until I see something I like, click, and make!
While Minimalist Baker is a plant based food blog, don't think that doesn't mean she is any less delish! Almost everything she posts has a non vegan option, but she was actually the first health food blog I followed!
Laura Lea is my go to for desserts and snack bars. Ever fall I use her pumpkin bar recipe for my breakfast. I make a pan of them, and they last me two whole weeks, it's the ones pictured above. ;)
I used to be exclusively sugar free (it was hard!) and I Quit Sugar was a LIFE SAVER. Once you start looking at the packaging, almost everything has added sugars. I was basically eating apples and homemade peanut butter and salads with olive oil and lemon. This blog helped me find things to eat that I loved, with no sugar.
I like Ameila Freer because she is more a lifestyle blogger and less of just food. Since she is a nutritionist, her blog is about living an altogether healthy life with balance of everything, and not just food.
