For the second time in a 15 month span, Netflix has announced that it will be raising it's prices once again.
For the most basic plan, Netflix will be increasing prices from $7.99 to $8.99. Netflix's most popular plan, that allows users to view on two separate screens in HD will increase from $10.99 to $12.99, and their 4K Ultra HD plan will be raising from $13.99 to $15.99.
This is the largest price hike in the history of the streaming app according to BuzzFeed. If you currently have the app, you'll get an email 30 days before the hike, and any new members will be getting the new prices at time of enrollment.
