Rojo The Therapy Llama who made nationwide news is going to be euthanized this morning according to his official Facebook page. Rojo was thrown a retirement party here in Portland on October 27th and was going to be sent to live the rest of his days in relaxation at a farm in Ridgefield, Washington.
According to a report from Willamette Week, Rojo's handlers noticed his illness getting worse over the weekend and they had to make the difficult decision to put him down. During his time on Earth Rojo visited over 600 hospitals, weddings, schools, and other events. He will now be taken to a taxidermist and stuffed so he may still bring happiness to the children at the Washington State School for the Blind in Vancouver, WA in their Safari Room.
