When it comes to adoption, most people tend to talk about babies and young children, including me. Ever since I was young I've wanted to have at least one adopted child, and just assumed I would adopt a baby or young kid. There are currently 125,000 kids in the foster care system awaiting their forever homes. For teenagers a lot of times they have to wait double the time of a younger child to find a family.
