Pizza Hut has been around since as long as I can remember, with the free pizza for reading and even just a night out with my Mom.
Now according to Wide Open Eats, Pizza Hut has closed down 500 of their dine in restaurants in an effort to focus more heavily on their delivery and take out options. In their latest earnings call, they had apparently expressed an interest to replace the shut down locations with express stores that focus on delivery and takeout only.
The executives at Pizza Hut believe that this will only strengthen their brand as well as create a faster way to long term growth.
