Woman Allegedly Claims She Has Coronavirus In Court, Prompting Evacuation

Midsection Of Judge Hitting On Gavel In Courtroom

Cecila Hill was in court for a misdemeanor drug charge when she told staffers that she was feeling ill, and thought that she might have contracted coronavirus according to a story from Oxygen. The courtroom was then evacuated and Hill was told she needed to be taken to the Hospital for testing. She refused all medical help until a judge ordered a blood test to be done that ended up coming back negative for any illnesses.

Due to the alleged lie all court hearings for the day had to be rescheduled to the next month and she now faces charges for filing a false report, obstructing governmental operations and contempt of court.
