Hubble is about to turn 30 years old! Happy early Birthday Hubble! In order to celebrate the anniversary, NASA has launched a service where you can see an image that Hubble captured on your birthday.
NASA launched The Hubble Space Telescope on April 24th, 2020 and is still in operation to this day. While Hubble isn't the first space telescope to be launched into orbit, it's one of the largest, most versatile, and well known currently in space. The images that we get from Hubble is not only a vital research tool, but is a great public relations boost for astronomy.
