The widely popular vampire romance novel, Twilight, first hit store shelves back in 2005, and later became a huge movie franchise back in 2008, is coming back with a new novel!
After the series concluded with the final book, Breaking Dawn, fans of Bella and Edward wanted more to the story. Author Stephanie Meyer then began working on, Midnight Sun, a retelling of the first book, but from Edward's perspective. It's been almost 12 years since we first heard about the novel, and to be honest, I never thought the book would come.
If you remember, the whole reason the book never came out was because Meyer was deeply devastated when someone leaked a manuscript online. She said that the version was "messy and flawed," and was not meant to be seen by the public. Due to the leak, Meyer claimed she was too upset to continue working on the book, and it would be on hold indefinitely.
Now in a report from Entertainment Weekly, Midnight Sun is finally going to hit store shelves! If you want to head back to Forks, Washington, you'll be able to buy the book next month on June 15th.
