According to Oregon Live, a Portland man who accidentally shot himself in the groin, but claims he was attacked and robbed by a homeless man at a bus stop.
When police went to the scene of the alleged crime, they saw no evidence that the attack had taken place. When questioned, the man was unable to give police any details about the man who had robbed him.
The gun was then found in his bloody clothes, and police claimed that based on physical evidence, injuries and trajectory of the bullet, align with someone who had been jamming the gun into his pants and accidentally discharged it, and not someone who had been attacked.
