Nairobi originally came to Oregon Humane in the spring of 2017 which is when the video was made. You’ll see he’s lost quite a bit of weight since then, which is what he needed! He came back to us recently because his owner was no longer able to care for him. He’s a 10.6 lb, 11 year old black domestic shorthair. He’s lived with other cats and dogs, however, he didn’t really care for the dogs or the male cats so he’d prefer to be in a home where he has the companionship of a female cat or is the only cat. He’s a lap cat, as you can see in his video, and he also loves being petted. He likes to play and is especially loves playing with laser pointers. I mean, who doesn’t?! Nairobi does have diabetes and will need to have insulin shots every 12 hours, without fail. His favorite thing to do is eat and he’s on a special diet to help with his diabetes- salmon flavored food is his favorite. He also has bright and shiny teeth! Just last week he had a dental procedure where he had some teeth removed and had a dental cleaning. Does Nairobi sound like the boy for you? If you, please fill out the questionnaire at the bottom of his profile and someone from Oregon Humane will call you to chat more about him.
