T&D Dog of the Week: Rhino

This week we’d like to feature a 9 month old puppy, Rhino! He’s a 46 lb American Pit Bull mix. This handsome pup was found as a stray in Washington County before making his way to Oregon Humane. He’s truly a ball of energy (check out his video) and is not for a first-time dog owner. He’ll do best with an active family in a home that has previous dog experience and no small children. After watching his video, you’ll see he’d be best suited to a home with a fenced yard and that he may have a bit too much energy for apartment living! Rhino is still a puppy, so he would benefit greatly from consistency and positive reinforcement training. No doubt he’d LOVE going to puppy class! Rhino is still working on potty training and will need to meet any potential canine companions before he’s adopted. Is this gorgeous puppy the one for you? If so, please fill out the questionnaire at the bottom of his profile and someone from OHS will call to tell you more about him.
