The International Olympic Committee is asking other major sports organizations around the world to ban athletes from Russia and Belarus amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Many other international events in which Russia was scheduled to participate have already been canceled. These actions follow criticism of FIFA, which announced it will not fully ban Russia from competing in the upcoming World Cup allowing its athletes to compete under a different name much like the IOC has done for the past two years. Oregon has once again moved up the date for lifting the indoor mask mandate. Yesterday the state announced that they will end the mask mandates for indoor public places and schools on March 12th. Washington state's indoor masking rules will also be lifted, however, health officials are expected to issue new guidance regarding K-12 schools next week so educators “can prepare to implement updated safety protocols." "The Batman" will hit theaters this Friday and is aiming to rake in at least 100-million-dollars at domestic box offices. If those projections hold, "The Batman" would only be the second film to cross the 100-million-dollar mark post-coronavirus pandemic, behind Sony's "Spider-Man: No Way Home." READ MORE.
