According to Ukrainian officials Volodymyr Zelensky has survived at least three precision assassination attempts by elite hit squads since the conflict with Russia started, and they say his survival was all thanks to tip-offs from Russian spies who “don't want to take part in this bloody war”. The World Health Organization has put out a new global standard for what is considered a safe listening volume for music and turns out concerts pose a genuine risk to young people's hearing. WHO recommended a maximum average sound level of 100 decibels to prevent hearing damage. A typical hair drier produces a volume level of about 100 dB. Your average rock concert, on the other hand, often produce volume levels of 120 or 130 dB. The WHO says venues should monitor volume levels and provide quiet zones to give people’s ears a break. Oregon State University will hold in-person graduation ceremonies for the first time in two years. The ceremonies will be held June 11th and 12th. Commencement ceremonies in 2020 were canceled to help reduce risk of COVID-19. Last year, virtual ceremonies were held for 2020 and 2021 graduates. All students graduating between summer 2021 and summer 2022 can participate in the ceremonies. READ MORE.
