This study was small, but the implications are huge. 18 people with rectal cancer were recently given a new experimental drug. An in all 18, their cancer vanished. It's apparently the first time everyone in a cancer study has gone into remission like that. READ MORE.

Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle — two comedians who've both been separately attacked onstage in recent months — will co-headline a joint comedy show later this year. It was announced yesterday that they’ll join forces for a show at London's The O2 arena on Saturday, Sept. 3. READ MORE.

There will be at least one big change in figure skating at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy. The International Skating Union raised the minimum age limit to 17 following a 110-16 vote. This change in the wake of the doping scandal involving 15-year old Russian skater Kamila Valiela at the Winter Games in Beijing. The International Skating Union noted that this new age restriction will limit "burnout, disordered eating, and long-term consequences of injury" that have become prevalent with younger athletes. READ MORE.

People consume music and content in general a lot differently than they used to and it often results in lower payouts for artists and Kirk Hammett of Metallica says… ‘we told you so’. "We warned everyone that the music industry was gonna lose eighty percent of its net worth, power and influence. There’s definitely a new way for getting music out there, but it isn’t as effective as the music industry pre-Napster. But we’re stuck with it." Metallica took Napster to court in 2000 over copyright infringement — which was the first case where an artist had sued a peer-to-peer file sharing company. READ MORE.

So… we’ve been talking about Stranger Things like it’s over after Season 4. But it’s not. The Duffer Brothers say that Season 5 has not started shooting yet, but it’s all mapped out and will involve a time jump to explain the kids getting older. Ideally, they say, they’d have shot Seasons 4 and 5 back to back, but there was just no feasible way to do that, in fact they’re still working on finishing the last 2 episodes of this season.
