This handsome fella is Moose, and he has a video. Moose - Oregon Humane Society Moose is about 2 ½ years old, weighs in at 57 pounds, and our best guess is that he’s a Vizsla/Pit Bull mix.
Moose came to us from Washington County where he was picked up as a stray. And that wasn’t his first time at the Bonnie Hayes shelter. He paid a visit there back in 2020, also as a stray. He appears to be a bit of an escape artist! For that reason he’ll need to go to a home with a fully-fenced yard. Moose is not at all a fan of other dogs and would do best as the one and only. He recently joined the OHS running team and does great on his runs- he seems to really be enjoying himself, so if you’re a runner, we have a great running buddy for you. In addition to going for runs, he enjoys running around the fully fenced OHS chip yard (which you’ll see in his video), and playing with toys. He’s sweet with people and ready to have an active lifestyle.
