If you’ve ever wished you could take a nap a work, a company in Japan is making that possible. They’ve got a new product called ‘nap boxes’ that allow you to take power naps at work. Only catch is, you’ll have to sleep standing up. They're big cylinders with a door on the front and each one has three small shelves inside, strategically placed to support your knees, head, and butt. A spokesperson for the company says its common for workers to go to the bathroom and sleep so he wanted to give them a better option. READ MORE.
For nearly a decade there’s been a grassroots campaign to get a street corner in NYC named after a Beastie Boys album and finally the New York City Council have approved a measure to name a Lower East Side Manhattan intersection “Beastie Boys Square,” a corner popularized by the album Paul’s Boutique. In 2014, the city council voted against “Beastie Boys Square” by a staggering vote of 24-to-1. READ MORE.
